Description
VPG is hiring a Production & Material Planner for our Sensors Division in Modi'in
Responsibilities:
- Manage material planning activities to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components for production.
- Analyze MRP recommendations and create purchase and replenishment plans based on demand forecasts and production requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Purchasing, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to ensure uninterrupted material flow.
- Track material shortages, identify supply risks, and proactively drive corrective actions.
- Create and maintain planning KPIs to support inventory optimization and supply chain performance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes and inventory management.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Material Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning, or a similar supply chain role.
- Strong understanding of MRP processes and inventory management methodologies.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or MFG.
- Experience with SharePoint and Lean methodologies is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and cross-functional communication skills.
- Fluent Hebrew and English communication skills.
