Field Service & Technical Support Engineer

abra professional services is seeking an experienced Field Service & Technical Support Engineer to provide hands-on technical support, installation, and maintenance of advanced multidisciplinary systems combining mechanical, electrical, electronic, and control technologies.

This is a full-time position located in central Israel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, operate, and maintain advanced technical systems at customer sites in Israel and abroad.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and electronic system issues.
• Perform system testing, calibration, and commissioning.
• Provide on-site and real-time technical support to customers.
• Document technical issues, solutions, and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Development, Engineering, and Production teams.
• Train customers and maintenance personnel on system operation and maintenance.
• Support system installations, maintenance activities, and upgrades.
• Travel within Israel and internationally according to project requirements.

Requirements

Requirements:

• Proven experience troubleshooting, diagnosing, and maintaining complex technical systems – mandatory.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, electronic, or integrated systems – mandatory.
• Experience providing field service and technical support directly to customers – mandatory.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and documentation – mandatory.
• Knowledge of motors, sensors, motion systems, and control technologies – mandatory.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in field environments – mandatory.
• Very good English proficiency, including technical communication with international customers and partners – mandatory.
• Valid driver's license – mandatory.
• Willingness to travel abroad as part of the role – mandatory.
• Strong technical aptitude, independent decision-making abilities, service orientation, and excellent interpersonal skills – mandatory.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment – mandatory.

Advantages:
