As a Per Diem Physician Assistant within Internal Medicine, you will work alongside hospitalists, attending physicians, nurses, social workers, case managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient care. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage a diverse and complex patient population while practicing at the forefront of academic medicine. You will gain experience caring for adult inpatients across the continuum of care, including evaluating admissions from the Emergency Department, managing hospitalized patients, coordinating care plans, and facilitating safe discharges. Patient populations include geriatrics, general medicine, digestive diseases, rehabilitation, vascular medicine, neurology, and oncology, among others.

Shift/Schedule
- Per Diem coverage with a minimum commitment of two shifts per month
- Rotating shifts with flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of one year of inpatient medicine experience highly preferred
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current New York State Physician Assistant license
- NCCPA certification
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
