As a Hardware Team Leader, you'll lead a team of hardware engineers developing the analog and communication circuits at the heart of SolarEdge's solar inverters and optimizers. You'll guide designs through the entire R&D lifecycle - from concept and feasibility studies through simulation, schematic design, and lab verification, all the way to mass production.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll set the technical standards for the team, mentor engineers in their day-to-day work, and collaborate closely with software, system, mechanical, and production teams to bring robust, high-quality products to market. It's an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to remain deeply involved in analog engineering while developing a team and shaping our hardware design processes.
What will you be doing?
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of hardware engineers specializing in analog circuit design, simulation, and testing.
- Research, design, and develop analog and communication circuits, from initial requirements through to mass production.
- Perform lab characterization and verification of analog circuits using spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other laboratory equipment.
- Lead design reviews and serve as the technical authority for the team's area of expertise.
- Collaborate with software, system, mechanical, and production teams to ensure seamless hardware-software integration and a smooth transition to manufacturing.
- Manage technical scope, schedules, risks, and product quality across the team's projects.
